OL Zak Zinter went from unranked to No. 138 in the latest Rivals250 update

Following Tuesday's release of the Rivals100, another 30 prospects that hold a Penn State scholarship offer were part of Wednesday's Rivals250 update.

One of the most notable changes was the jump that OL Zak Zinter made. Formerly a three-star, the Andover, Mass., resident went from outside the top 250 to No. 138 in the latest rankings. Zinter, who plays at Buckingham Browne & Nichols in Cambridge, earned an offer from the Nittany Lions in July following a camp workout with offensive line coach Matt Limegrover. He then returned to State College last month for the game against Maryland.

“I really enjoyed the visit and the chance to be able to spend quality time with a number of the coaches,” Zinter said, following his most recent visit. “I really got to know more about them, their coaching styles and what they’re looking for in their players and as a team."

DT Tre' Williams, from St. John's College High in Washington, D.C., also made a sizable jump, improving 60 spots to No. 162 overall. Williams attended the Blue-White Game back in April. He also worked out with the staff at their annual White Out camp in June.

The list includes nine other prospects that have visited Penn State at some point in the past six months. CB Josh Moten, who sits at No. 130 overall, and LB Derek Wingo (No. 134) both attended Penn State's game against Ohio State in September. OL Anton Harrison sits at No. 153. He's been on campus multiple times, including last month's game against Maryland.

Another prospect that the Lions sit in very good position with is Ath. Curtis Jacobs (No. 158). Jacobs has been a regular visitor since last spring. His most recent visit was for the game against Wisconsin. DE Coziah Izzard (No. 183) has also been on campus multiple times since the summer, while DE Fadil Diggs (No. 188) and DT Cole Brevard (No. 196) both attended this year's showdown against the Buckeyes.

Two additional prospects of note are Saf. Makari Paige (No. 229) and LB Cody Simon, who sits at No. 243. Simon camped with the staff in June, while Paige, who''s a high school teammate of future PSU LB Lance Dixon, attended the Lasch Bash in July before returning for the Ohio State game.
