WHAT HE DID: A three-year starter at Canarsie, Isaac totaled 77 tackles in 2018, including 34 for a loss of yeards. He added an eye-catching 22 sacks and eight forced fumbles his senior year. As a junior, Isaac posted 57 tackles and eight sacks. He totaled 35 sacks for his career. The Chiefs improved their record in each of the three years that Isaac was part of the team. In 2018 they finished 6-5, upsetting Fort Hamilton in the first round of the PSAL City playoffs.

WHAT HE WON: Isaac participated in the Rivals Five-Star Challenge in June. He was named New York's Defensive Player of the Year by USA Today and was also named Big 44 Defensive Player of the Year in 2017 and 2018. Isaac earned all-borough and all-city honors the past two seasons. A member of the Rivals250, he ranks No. 181 overall, fifth at weak-side defensive end and No. 1 in New York for 2019.

WHERE HE VISITED: Isaac visited Penn State for the first time in Nov. 2017. He earned an offer the following February and visited again in March and April. Michigan and Texas A&M also earned visits in the spring, but by the time the summer rolled around, it was becoming clear that the Nittany Lions were the team to beat. Isaac took his official visit in September - his sixth visit to University Park. Miami also earned an official visit in November. He committed to Penn State earlier this week, Dec. 17.

QUOTABLE: “I just felt like it was the best place for me and my family. I was extremely comfortable every time I went out to campus and it just hit all the right spots from academics to football. It’s perfect.”
