Record Watch: Barkley bearing down on all-time PSU greats
He's already considered one of the frontrunners for the Heisman Trophy. The Big Ten has selected him as one its top 10 players for the 2017 preseason and many of the country's most prestigious awards have him atop their watch lists.
Saquon Barkley has sights set on conquering all of them, as well as another Big Ten Championship and beyond. All the while he is cementing his place as one of the best running backs in Penn State history.
With 2,572 career rushing yards and 25 touchdowns to his name, Barkley has already put up the best freshman and sophomore campaigns ever by a Nittany Lion RB. As a junior, all-time records are within reach.
