PSU and 2022 commit part ways; why latest loss stung so much: Newsstand

Penn State-Ohio State week is here, albeit with a lot less anticipation than we previously expected.

The Buckeyes are rolling and have been installed as huge favorites ahead of Saturday's 7:30 p.m. showdown on ABC, while the Nittany Lions are reeling and trying to get back to their winning ways after dropping back-to-back contests.

In today's newsstand, we look at headlines surrounding the program and tweets to know, including one that announced a decommitment from the Class of 2022.

We'll start with three-star corner Jordan Allen announcing his decommitment on Monday morning. This is not in reaction to the Illinois loss as it was going this way before that game since the senior visited Ole Miss recently.

Penn State dropped as expected in the Coaches and AP top-25 polls following its second loss of the season.

My natural inclination is to start coaching and go over the issues that we had today on the field. It's not the right time for it. We'll save that till Sunday.
