The top-rated prospect in the region can't shy away from the spotlight and Parsons, who has been under a microscope since he was a freshman, is quite used to it by now. The former Penn State commit has taken a series of visits this offseason but official visits are around the corner. Parsons will head to Ohio State and Nebraska for official visits, and more are coming, presumably to USC, Georgia, Florida State or Alabama. His recruitment will be fun to watch down the stretch and his play on the field is almost can't-miss TV.

Henry, the second uncommitted five-star in the Mid-Atlantic, has a very unclear schedule and plenty of question marks heading into the season. He has no official visits scheduled to any of his top five schools – Alabama, Clemson, Georgia, South Carolina, and Virginia Tech. Henry is expected to be an early enrollee, so things should start to pick up for him. As for his play this season, Henry was a bit underwhelming later in the offseason but should bounce back to have a dominant senior campaign.

Sandidge was one of the players that was in the discussion as a potential five-star prospect. He's always been great in the camp setting and during the season he has been very good. Consistent play is one of the things to keep an eye on this season. The constant shifts in his recruitment also keep Sandidge in the spotlight. Michigan, Virginia Tech, North Carolina, Florida, Georgia, Penn State and South Carolina made his top seven but South Carolina and Michigan seem to be mentioned by his camp the most. None of these teams are completely out of the race just yet and official visits could be very telling in this recruitment.

Shorter has been one of the biggest risers in the rankings in the past year. The Penn State commit has transformed his body and become more than just a big downfield threat. Shorter is much stronger, quicker and an exponentially better route runner than he was a junior. He is currently a top 10 wide receiver and ranked in the top 50 of the Rivals100. We'll be watching to see if his play warrants another move up in the rankings.

Rarely is the spotlight in northern New Jersey not on teams such as Don Bosco, Paramus Catholic, Bergen Catholic or St. Peter's Prep. Oweh, at Blair Academy, is waiting to announce his commitment until the Under Armour All-America Game after seemingly being near a commitment earlier this offseason. Ohio State, Penn State and Notre Dame remain his final three contenders. The battle for his commitment will be something to keep an eye on as will his continual development on the field. Oweh is still very new to the game and watching him progress before our eyes this season will be fun.
