Penn State is set for its final big recruiting weekend of the spring. Today we take a closer look at some of the top prospects on offense that are expected to be in State College this weekend for the annual Blue-White Game.

OL Nana Asiedu is expected to make his second trip to PSU this spring.

Schools - Penn State, Arizona, Boston College, Buffalo, Connecticut, Iowa St., Kentucky, Louisville, Maryland, Mich. State, Nebraska, Notre Dame, Oregon, Pitt, Rutgers, Syracuse, Temple, Virginia Tech, Wake Forest, West Virginia

The Latest - Anderson-Butts will join teammate and close friend Micah Parsons Saturday. He’s certainly no stranger to the Lasch Building, but this weekend’s trip will be his first since the game against Ohio State last October. It feels as if Daniel George is at the top of the staff’s wishlist, but Penn State is still expected to sign three receivers in 2018. If Anderson-Butts is able to show steady improvement academically this semester and then in the fall, we still feel as if there's a good chance he ends up a Nittany Lion.

Schools - Top 11 - Penn State, Auburn, Clemson, Florida, Florida State, Georgia, LSU, Michigan, North Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia Tech

The Latest - Asiedu called Penn State his favorite back in March and we still believe that holds true. Aside from a visit to North Carolina in early March, Asiedu was quiet last month, but he did resume visits this past weekend, as he checked out Maryland. He’ll also stop at Virginia Tech on Thursday. Saturday’s visit will be Asiedu’s second to Penn State since February. Given that, plus his previous comments, he’s certainly someone that we’ll be watching closely in the hours leading up to kickoff.

Schools - Penn State, Alabama, Auburn, Clemson, Georgia, Iowa, Maryland, Miami, Michigan, Mich. State, Ole Miss, North Carolina, N.C. State, Notre Dame, Ohio State, Pitt, Rutgers, Temple, Tennessee, Texas A&M, UCLA, USC, Vanderbilt, Virginia Tech, West Virginia, Wisconsin

The Latest - Dotson has been quiet since last season. At one point, it looked as if he may have faded a bit with the staff, but after speaking with contacts we learned that Dotson is still very much in play. He's been quiet on the recruiting trail, so it’s a positive sign that he’ll be back on campus. This will be Dotson's first true visit to Penn State since Feb. 2016. He attended the staff’s satellite camp in New Jersey last summer.

Schools - Penn State, Arizona, Arizona State, California, Duke, Georgia, Kentucky, Oregon, UCLA, USC, Utah, Vanderbilt, Washington State

The Latest - Despite the fact that he’s the son of former PSU running back Curtis Enis, Solomon is set to see State College for the first time this weekend. He’ll actually arrive Friday afternoon and stick around until Sunday, so Enis should get a taste for everything before he heads back to Arizona. As of now, USC and Arizona State are the only two other schools he’s visited, so we expect Enis to see some other schools this summer before he narrows or list or makes a decision. That said, a good visit this weekend could put the Nittany Lions right in the mix.

Schools - Penn State, Ball State, Bowling Green, Buffalo, C. Michigan, Duke, Kansas, Kansas St., Minnesota, Syracuse, Toledo, W. Michigan, Wyoming

The Latest - Effner earned an offer from Penn State back in March following his first visit with Franklin and his assistants. He immediately called the Nittany Lions one of his favorites. Now, he’ll return for his second visit, as Effner wants to get a taste for the atmosphere inside Beaver Stadium. So far, he’s seen Duke, Illinois, Northwestern and North Carolina. Effner continues to say that he has no plans to make a decision in the near future, but the nonetheless, we’ll be keeping a close eye on him Saturday.

Schools - Penn State, Akron, Iowa St., Kent St., LSU, Michigan, Mich. State, North Carolina, Ohio St., Syracuse, Temple, Toledo

The Latest - Scruggs has been forced to back out of a few trips to State College in recent months. He’s also taken two visits to Ohio State in March and April, so it’s really important for the staff to get Scruggs back on campus this weekend. Scruggs continues to say that he’s open to everyone, but all signs continue to point towards Ohio State as PSU’s biggest competitor.

Schools - Florida, Michigan, Mich. State, Minnesota, Nebraska, Tennessee, Va. Tech

The Latest - Reed visited Penn State back in February with his high school coach and teammates. They’ll now return to State College this upcoming weekend for the Blue-White Game. Both Virginia Tech and Nebraska have also earned visits from Reed this spring, the most recent of which was for the Cornhuskers’ spring game last weekend. Muskegon head coach Shane Fairfield continues to hint that the Nittany Lions are a serious player with Reed. In fact, we've been given the impression that the Nittany Lions are currently the team to beat, so he's another prospect to keep a close eye on.

Schools - Penn State, Boston College, Buffalo, Maryland, Minnesota, N.C. State, Northwestern, Pitt, Purdue, Temple, Toledo, Virginia, W. Virginia

The Latest - Penn State extended an offer to Zubovic just last month. He made it clear that it was an offer he coveted, but at the same time, it doesn’t feel as if he’s close to making a decision. We know he visited Pitt for its spring game this past weekend. West Virginia also appears to be a school that he has real interest in, so we’ll see where the Nittany Lions stand following this weekend. This will be his first game inside Beaver Stadium.
