Campbell popped tonight

As first relayed through his Twitter account @TreTC3, Class of 2014 point guard Tre Campbell has announced he will attend Georgetown University. His father soon thereafter confirmed the choice, which was relayed by the @HoyaNation twitter presence.

A 6'2", 175 pound performer, Campbell had earned many offers. According to him tonight, Georgetown, along with "Pitt, Xavier and Maryland" were the latest.

Campbell, who attends St. Johns College High School and is on the travel circuit Team Takeover, unofficially toured Georgetown last week, returning today. It was at this time, the decision was relayed to the Hoyas' staff, including head coach John Thompson III and Campbell's lead recruiter, Kevin Broadus.

Be sure to check back for more on how the decision was reached and communicated, in addition to what Campbell sees in the Hoyas.

Presently, we discuss Campbell, his game and what to expect, on Premium Court.
