Nelson visits A&M, has others planned

Two junior linebackers from Dallas Skyline visited Texas A&M last Sunday to attend a junior day and watch the Aggies' first spring practice in full pads. One of them, Dominique Patterson, had the Aggies the as his favorite since the day in November when A&M first offered him and he committed late in the day before returning to Dallas. Patterson was one of four verbal commitments to come out of the weekend.

The other Skyline linebacker, Rivals100 prospect Corey Nelson, did not commit to the Aggies. However, his comments after his visit indicate that A&M strengthened their position with him and that, when he finally comes to a decision, the Aggies will be in the thick of things.
