Exclusive Video: Little signs with UGA
The University of Georgia had a surprise name pop up on their signing list Wednesday morning and than name was Chris Little. Little was expected to sign with Notre Dame on National Signing Day, but he chose the Dawgs instead. UGASports.com was on the scene in Jeffersonville (Ga.) and captured this exclusive video.
Little received a visit from the Georgia coaching staff last Friday and that may have been the time that the Dawgs took the lead. Little thought about Notre Dame and Georgia from then through Wednesday morning before deciding he wanted to stay home and play for the Bulldogs.
The clock hit 10:00am EST and Little was getting ready to sign his letter of intent. UGASports.com was at Twiggs County High School to see Little fax his letter of intent to Athens instead of South Bend (In.).
Check out this exclusive video that shows Little dressed in a nice suit and matching hat as he signs with the University of Georgia.
After signing his letter of intent, he sat down with us and talked about his decision. He talked about why he chose UGA, when he informed Notre Dame of his decision, how they took it, how Coach Searels played a role in his switch, and more.
If you could not view the video right now, then here are a few quotes from Little.
"I am very excited and happy with the whole situation. I am just glad the process is over and I can focus on one school."
"Well, I wanted to be close to home and close to my parents."
"I kind of made my decision this weekend, but I just wanted to wait and think about it a little more."
"I kind of kept my decision to myself."
