Post-season honors start to pile up.

A number of football players that given the Pitt coaching staff verbal commitments have been piling up post-season honors now that they have played their senior season. We though we would take this opportunity during the holiday period to highlight a few of those honors.

Manheim Township quarterback Pat Bostick (6" 3" 220) has been selected to play in the East Meets West All-American game in Orlando on January 6th. Bostick was selected as the Gatorade Player of the Year for the State of Pennsylvania. He was also a second team AAAA all-state pick for the second year in a row. In addition Bostick was selected to the Harrisburg Patriot News' Platinum 33 team. Pat Bostick finished his career passing for 7,246 yards to finish No. 4 all-time in the state in passing yardage. Bostick is ranked No. 1 on the Pantherlair's PA Top 50.

Keystone Oaks Chris Jacobson ( 6' 3" 285) has been selected to play in the U.S. Army All-American game in San Antonio on January 6th. Chris Jacobson has been selected to the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette's Fabulous 22 and the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review's Terrific 25. In addition he was a first team AAA all-state selection by the Associated Press. Jacobson helped open holes for Keystone Oaks running back John Furher to become the WPIAL fourth leading rusher this fall. Jacobson is ranked No. 4 in the Pantherlair's PA Top 50.
