Houston lineman likes Big 12 school

Houston (Texas) Cy-Fair finished 0-10 in 2009 and the team was picked by most to be at the bottom of the ten-team District 17-5A this past year as well. That wasn't the case, though, as the Bobcats surprised everyone by finishing as co-district champions and a trip to the second round of the state playoffs.

One of the main reasons for the team's success was one of the better offenses in the area. Leading the way for the Bobcats was offensive tackle Jeromy Irwin. The 6-foot-5, 289-pound junior was a unanimous first-team all-district selection and is starting to get noticed by a number of colleges.
