Small town star grabs first offer

A lot of very good football talent comes out of East Texas every year. The towns may be less populated and further apart than their big-city counterparts in the state but the region can be a recruiting hotbed if colleges put in the work to find the players.

That is exactly the case with Tenaha athlete Reginald Davis. The 6-foot-1, 185-pound junior hails from a tiny class 1A high school. However, he does a little bit of everything for the Tigers and schools have taken notice. This weekend, he received his first scholarship offer.
