Reddish adds offers

Brooklyn (NY) Fort Hamilton wide receiver Brandon Reddish has been holding a couple offers from Syracuse and Rutgers now for about a month. CuseConfidential.com caught up with Reddish to get his thoughts on the Orange as well as an update on his recruitment.

"I believe they offered me sometime in March or February," Reddish said. "I was happy when Syracuse offered. That was my second offer."

Reddish, 5-foot-11, 175 pounds has not had a chance to visit Syracuse, but he does know a little about the football program.

"I have not visited them yet, but the football team is good they are getting better."

As far as that visit goes Reddish does have plans made to see Syracuse.

"I am going to their summer camp," Reddish stated.

Last recruiting season Syracuse coach John Anselmo did a solid job recruiting the New York City area and this year he will be looking to do the same. Anselmo has been in contact with Reddish already and the two have started a nice relationship.

"Coach Anselmo is recruiting me. It is cool because he is like my friend, it is cool."

Even though the Empire State prospect has not had a chance to get to Syracuse he has made two visits so far.

"I have visited Rutgers and Temple. At Rutgers I liked the academics and Temple was good to it was just like Rutgers."

Now that Rutgers and Syracuse came in with offers has anybody else followed the two Big East programs?

"I have two more offers. The last two offers were from Maryland and West Virginia."

A quick decision is highly unlikely to come from Reddish as he plans on taking his time before picking a school.

"I will probably make a decision after my senior season."

During his junior season Reddish caught 30 passes for 760 yards and 12 touchdowns. On defense he had 47 tackles and two interceptions.
