4-star Hawaii target narrowing choices

One of the top remaining targets on the Oregon State board for the class of 2010 is a big time defensive prospect that can play a number of positions. Kapolei (Haw.) linebacker Shaydon Akuna has been near the top of the Oregon State board for some time and the same can be said for the Beavers about his "board."

Akuna visited back in October with Kapolei teammate Dustin Elisara. As the recruiting process begins to wind down, BeaverBlitz caught up with Shaydon to see what's left for him and where things stand for the Beavers.

"Right now I am just trying to get everything in place to make the right decision for myself. I still have Oregon State very high on my list and they will be a factor until the very end. Ever since I visited I have said that I can see myself playing and living there and I mean that. They have a strong history with Poly players and lots of kids from Hawaii have done well in Corvallis" said the four-star athlete.
