Auburn extends offer to Georgia DE

Auburn has extended an offer to one of the fastest-rising prospects in Georgia.

Two days after an unofficial visit to the Plains, Norcross (Ga.) defensive end Adrian Hubbard received news that the Tigers were offering him a chance to play for Auburn.

Hubbard received the news Monday night from Auburn head coach Gene Chizik, Hubbard's father Jerome, confirmed to AuburnSports.com.

The 6-foot-7, 227-pound Hubbard, a standout in basketball as well, played football since he was 8-years-old. He didn't play as a junior, but that hasn't hindered his recruitment.
