The good: He is usually a reliable tackler who has the ability to make plays at the line or in the open field. He has displayed the range to be able to play off the deep hash and still able to get to the ball. He has fine hip flex and natural overall ease of movement with good reactions to the ball when it is in the air. His reliable hands have proven capable of making interceptions and deflecting passes and totaled seven interceptions over his two year college career. He reads the run fairly well and is quick to support and get in on the action. The bad: White is still raw in coverage and needs development in most areas - especially man situations - though he has displayed flexible hips and the burst of speed to make up for mistakes. He has a good, though somewhat high, backpedal and will sometimes lose a step in transition when trying to read the play. He has a tendency to look into the backfield too much. Outlook: White needs to be more consistent in his reads and assignments, which will give him a good chance to land on a roster this summer. He is a good second-day pick with a make-it grade. He could become a starter in the dime package with refinement of his talents. An athlete with versatility and some upside, White is a cover-2 defender at the next level with a chance to become a key backup in multiple packages.
