NEW YORK - Blue White Illustrated has been informed by a very reliable source within the Penn State men's basketball program that Top 100 player from the Class of 2010, Taran Buie, has made a verbal commitment to the Nittany Lions tonight.

Following a 69-63 win against Baylor to earn the school's first NIT Championship, the good news continued when Buie reportedly made a verbal commitment to the Nittany Lions.

Buie, a 6-foot-2 shooting guard out of Bishop Maginn High School in Albany, N.Y., is Penn State sophomore first team All-Big Ten point guard Talor Battle's half-brother.

If Buie keeps his commitment, he'll play with Battle as a Nittany Lion in 2010 which will be Battle's senior season at Penn State.

Blue White Illustrated will have more on this breaking news as it comes in.
