August 17, 2007 The Czech Republic was condemned to a rematch with Australia and this time there was no respite from vengeance as the Aussies avenged an earlier round loss to the Czechs with a 64-53 win to claim 17th place at the World University Games in Bangkok, Thailand. The Aussies were led by 19 points [8-for-16 field goal shooting plus three-for-three in free throws] and nine rebounds from Cougar junior men's hoopster Aron Baynes. Baynes also blocked three shots, dished two assists, with one turnover, one steal and two personal fouls.
