Four-star DE makes a surprise visit
Four-star defensive end Kaleb Eulls had originally planned to visit LSU's spring game on Saturday.
But the 6-foot-4, 240-pounder from Yazoo County stayed instate and turned up at Mississippi State instead.
Eulls was tagging along with his high school coach to Baton Rogue to watch the Tigers but his coach was unable to take him so Eulls made the trip to Starkville with his baseball coach instead.
"My visit went really good," Eulls said. "There was a big crowd there. I really wasn't expecting that many people to come just to watch an exhibition game. That is something that really caught my eye."
Eulls also attended the Bulldogs junior day earlier this year and got a chance to see the enormity of the new $6.1 million jumbotron at Davis Wade Stadium. But on Saturday, he got to see it operational for the first time.
"I loved the jumbotron," Eulls said. "I saw it when I went up there for junior day but this was the first time I got to see it operational. That thing was so bright that it almost blinded me."
Eulls got a chance to talk to MSU head coach Dan Mullen and also met his family in the locker room during halftime on Saturday.
