Four-star DE impressed with Auburn visit
One of the nation's top defensive end prospects, McDonough (Ga.) Union Grove four-star Anthony Williams, made his second trip of the spring to Auburn Saturday to take in the Tigers' second scrimmage.
The 6-foot-4, 235-pounder also attended Auburn's first big Junior Day in March.
"It went really good," Williams said of his most recent visit. "I got there and they had just started. I went and told (defensive line/recruiting coach) Coach (Tracy) Rocker that I made it down there.
"He was excited I was there. I watched the scrimmage. Coach Rocker talked to me during the breaks. It went really good. I enjoyed myself."
Williams watched as the Auburn defense reportedly won the day. The Tigers' defense was credited with a 61-34 win. Williams was impressed by Auburn defensive end Antonio Coleman, who had two sacks on the day.
