Where will the early commits be ranked?
By receiving their sixth public commitment by the end of the first day of March, the University of Florida is treading along in in uncharted waters. Because they are normally on the list of some of the top prospects in the nation, in the past the Gators would tend to begin receiving commitments at a much later date.
Last year at this time, UF had but one public commitment. However, Valdosta (Ga.) cornerback Greg Reid decided to bail out on his Florida pledge a month before signing day.
It wasn't until Greer (S.C.) tight end Desmond Parks committed in late July that the Gators picked up commitment No. 6.
