The LSU football program's 2010 recruiting class is off and running as Les Miles and his staff has accepted a flurry of verbal commitments from some of the regions top prospects.

After two Louisiana prospects gave their verbal commitments early Saturday evening, Miles accepted the pledge of a Texan.

Dallas-Skyline wide receiver Mike Davis who has offers from some of the nation's top programs gave Miles his word.
