The senior is one of a few vying for the starting nod at center, filling in the spot vacated by Robbie Powell.
In this GoldandBlack.com audio, Benton talks about the opportunity to start, coming to Purdue as a walk-on and his experience last season as a backup left guard.
We caught up with Benton after Purdue's first spring practice Wednesday evening.
