Did you know? • Georgia will be seeking its fifth straight win over Carolina on Wednesday night. The program hasn't posted five consecutive wins over any SEC school since Georgia put together a 5-game streak over Ole Miss from 2000-04.
• Georgia posted double-digit wins in both meetings with South Carolina last season: 80-56 in Athens on Jan. 10 and 73-54 in Columbia exactly one month later.
• Sundiata Gaines would surely be a candidate for the record. He enters tonight's game having already logged 3,301 minutes over 106 career games (31.1 avg.). For comparison's sake, 4-year guards Rashad Wright and Litterial Green both averaged over 32 minutes per game over their careers.
All Eyes On Sophomore guard Devan Downey has been South Carolina's most exciting play-maker, averaging a team-high 20. 1 points and 5.1 assists per game. Downey hails from Chester, S.C.

Analysis and Prediction Tonight's road game in Columbia would seem like an opportune time for the Bulldogs to pick up their first road SEC victory of the season. Having swept the Gamecocks last year, no doubt Georgia would love to do the same again.
Georgia just needs to play consistent, something the team hasn't done in road losses at Mississippi State and Tennessee. The Gamecocks shouldn't pose quite the same challenge.
It will be close, but Georgia will prevail
Prediction: Georgia 74, South Carolina 66.
