December 16, 2007 - Georgetown's 110-51 victory over Radford last night at the school's venerable on-court gym, McDonough Arena, can only be described as wholesale destruction, as the Hoyas shot 65% from the floor and 50% from three point land for the game. To again use that word, wholesale, this time in the context of historical victories, G'Town's coach John Thompson III's teams has never defeated a team in such a broad (or wholesale) manner, as under his direction Georgetown had never eclipsed the 100 point mark, and also only doubled an opponent's score twice (against the Citadel in 2004-2005 and Winston-Salem State last year).
