Chandler: You touch it, you Catch it
Tight end Tripp Chandler lives by a certain mantra: You touch the ball, you catch the ball.
That's a message Chandler's father instilled upon him at a very young age, and it's one he takes with him every time he steps on the field for the Georgia Bulldogs.
"That's just the way I was taught," Chandler said. "You get your hands on the ball, it's your job to bring it in."
No doubt others would agree.
Unfortunately for the Bulldogs, drops continue to be an issue for Georgia receivers, an issue that's plagued the team for the past several years. Although the number of drops in Saturday's 16-12 loss to South Carolina might not have been as high as in other games, the drops that did occur came at the most inopportune times. Two would likely have gone for touchdowns including one by Tony Wilson at the goal line which would have allowed the Bulldogs to tie the Gamecocks late in the game.
