UA blown out at Staples Center

GOAZCATS.com The Wildcats were ousted from the Pac-10 Tournament Thursday at the hands of a very good Oregon team, losing by the score of 69-50.
Freshman Tajuan Porter was the man for the Ducks, scoring 21 points on 5-6 three-point shooting.
Oregon played extremely well and looked like the class of the Pac-10 Thursday, especially given the opening round loss of UCLA, but Arizona didn't give itself much of a chance to win down the stretch.
The opening few minutes of the first half were relatively even with both teams exchanging leads until Aaron Brooks hit a three at the 14:35 mark of the half to give the Ducks a 11-7 advantage.
A trio of Brooks three-pointers later and Oregon began to really open the game up with a 24-16 lead with 7:05 left to play in the half. However, the UA made a slight surge soon thereafter and a Jordan Hill three-point play brought Arizona within three points with at the 5:30 mark.
