Rader gets one more shot at Cowboys

TideSports.com Fifty games into his second stint as an assistant coach at Alabama, offensive coordinator/quarterbacks coach Dave Rader will finally be the man calling the plays when the Crimson Tide takes on Oklahoma State in the Independence Bowl later this month.
Not that the thought of being in full control of the offense gives Rader any satisfaction. He'd much rather his old boss, Mike Shula, still be employed.
As it is, Rader is in charge of a unit that racked up yards during the regular season, but not enough points. And make no mistake about, the change at the top was about point production as much as anything else.
