The Hillis factor
All-purpose back Peyton Hillis had his most productive statistical game of the season Saturday, but that does not mean it was his best game.
Arkansas has a true weapon in the 6-foot-2, 238-pounder. He has some of the best mitts on the team, he can be a devastating blocker and he is a powerful runner. Despite not always filling up the stat sheet, he always makes an impact on the game. Considering how bad he burned Ole Miss on the short passes because of their focus on Arkansas' run game, his role in the next big game could be to make them respect that pass. In turn, it could open up more running lanes for the tailbacks. UA sophomore running back Felix Jones was killing teams week-to-week with the screen pass, but Ole Miss pounced all over it the one time Arkansas ran it because they expected it. That, in turn, can leave a hole in the defense. Arkansas just has to find a way to exploit it. Most of the time this season, the Hogs have done just that.
