The View from the Stands: Camp Scrimmage
On a sultry sunny Saturday morning, a nearly-packed Drake Stadium crowd of approximately 6,000 of the Bruin Faithful, led in 8-claps by UCLA Cheerleader Emeritus Geoff Strand, assembled to watch a veritable changing of the guard.
As the 2006 Bruin Football team clearly demonstrated that they indeed have installed a fortified defense, a high-powered secondary, a slightly retooled offense, and three capable quarterbacks, who each brought their own unique brand of talent and leadership to the West Coach Offense of Head Coach Karl Dorrell.
