Tyus' father admits recruiting 'game' is tough

BuckeyeGrove.com If there's a way to bite your lip while you're talking on the phone, Thomas Tyus, father of top-50 recruit Alex Tyus, may have done it Wednesday.
The elder Tyus told BuckeyeSports.com that his son was "disappointed" when he got a call last week on the eve of a scheduled visit to Ohio State telling him fellow high-profile recruit Evan Turner suddenly had beaten him to the punch and committed. After that, Mr. Tyus chose not to elaborate.
Now, Alex Tyus may completely re-open his recruiting.
Prior to naming his top two, Tyus had listed several major programs including Illinois and Memphis - who were in his top four - as well as big boys of the block Arizona, Kansas and Texas.
