Phil Grosz's Inside Look at Big Ten Recruiting

The first full weekend of official visits in December to Big Ten schools proved to be beneficial to nine member schools of the conference.

However, there is no question that the biggest winner in the Big Ten in recruiting for the Class of 2013 from the visits that took place this past weekend (Dec. 7-9) was Penn State.

The Nittany Lions hosted 14 players on Dec 7 through Dec. 9. Nine of those players had already verbally committed to Penn State and four of the five uncommitted players that visited ended up giving verbal commitments to the Nittany Lions.
