Penn State running back Silas Redd enters the 2012 season with extremely high expectations, both from fans and media outside the program, as well as from himself and his teammates.

Finishing as the Nittany Lions' leading rusher - by far - with 1,241 yards and seven touchdowns on 244 carries, Redd emerged as one of the conference's best running backs and put himself in position for big things in the season ahead.
