It has been a whirlwind spring for Saint Clairsville, Ohio, sophomore linebacker Michael Ferns. After picking up his first offer of the process two months ago, he has since added eight more. His latest comes from the Pac-12 Conference.

The 6-foot-3, 235-pound Ferns has been a varsity starter since the first game of his freshman season. Last fall as a sophomore he registered around 130 tackles in 12 games.

Ferns is also a standout in the classroom. He carries a 4.0 GPA and made it very clear that academics are his first priority in selecting a school.
