InsidetheGators.com GAINESVILLE -- John Brantley arrived at the start of spring practice with a kick in his step and butterflies in his stomach.
He is no longer Tim Tebow's backup.
Instead, the junior-to-be is Florida's clear-cut No. 1 quarterback, a role he has craved since watching the Steve Spurrier-led Gators of the late 1990s as a child.
