Jeremy Ioane planned to check out Notre Dame with an official visit regardless of whether he received a scholarship beforehand or not. So when West Coast recruiter Mike Denbrock called the safety prospect from Honolulu with an offer Tuesday it came as a pleasant surprise. Now Ioane looks forward to reconnecting with old friend in South Bend.
